Semester 2 staff: Mrs. Mathieson, Ms. Dunn, Mr. Kloostra and Ms. Westgate

SCHOOL COUNCIL - School Council had the first meeting of the year Thursday night after Grade 9 Night.  Eight parents were there as well as Mrs. Farina and the student representative.  Many items were discussed including the 4th Anniversary Celebration for the spring.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, the fall craft sale scheduled for October 24, 2009 has been postponed until May 8, 2010.

LIFE BUS - Our PSW students have joined forces with Canadian Blood Services to bring The Life Bus to Alexander MacKenzie.  The Life Bus will come once per month and pick up students who will be taken to Canadian Blood Services in Bayside mall to donate blood.  Students MUST be 17 years or older to participate.  Students under 18 years of age will need a permission form signed by parents.
